Band-tailed Oropendolas

The Band-tailed Oropendola (Ocyalus latirostris) is found in the following South American countries: Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, where it favors subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and swamps.
It is in the genus Ocyalus, usually considered monotypic (one single species), though the Casqued Oropendola might also be included herein.
