Carpornis - The Berryeaters
Cotingas
Carpornis, or the berryeaters, are endemic to the Atlantic forests of eastern Brazil.
It contains the following species:
- Hooded Berryeater (Carpornis cucullata)
- Black-headed Berryeater (Carpornis melanocephala)
Description
Both species are mainly greenish-yellow with a black hood.
Diet
They are primarily fruit eaters.
