The Zoo Med Brooder Lamp contains a high quality, heavy gauge aluminum reflector. It's socket is made of heat resistant insulated porcelain and can handle up to 250 watts. Ideal for large "oversized" heat emitters, reflector spot lamps or infrared heat lamps. The Lamp contains a Hang-up hook for easier suspension over terrarium and a "Snap-on" bulb guard helps prevent accidental bulb breakage.
