Greater Bird of Paradise


Lesser Bird of Paradise The genus Paradisaea consists of seven species of birds of paradise (family Paradisaeidae). Native to Indonesia, the genus is known there as Cenderawasih (also Cendrawasih).

All are large, sexually dimorphic (can be visually sexed), and beautifully plumed.
