Bokhara Trumpeter: One of the most popular breeds of trumpeter in the U.S., the Bokhara Trumpeter is most noticeably characterized by its lengthy full muffs (feathers on the feet) and double crest which completely obscures the bird's eyes and gives it a look reminiscent of the English sheepdog. Bolle's Pigeon (Columba bollii)
Bonin Wood-pigeon (Columba versicolor) was a pigeon endemic to Nakodo-jima ("Nakondo" is a frequent spelling error) and Chichi-jima in the Ogasawara Islands off the coast of Japan. It averaged a total length of 45 cm and was known from four recorded specimens, the first from 1827. The Bonin Wood-pigeon died out late in the 19th century as a result of deforestation, hunting and predation by introduced rats and cats. The last known specimen of a Bonin Wood-pigeon was taken in 1889.
