Description
Plumheaded Finches measure about 11 cm or 4.3 inches in length (including its tail).
Males and females look alike; except the female lacks the male's black chin spot.
Description
The Plum-headed Finches breed mostly from September-January in the south and August-March in the north.
The nest is round, laterally compressed chamber of green grass and is built in thick bushes.
The average clutch consists of 4 - 6 pure white eggs, which are incubated for about 14 days.
