Birds of Prey ... The Sport of Falconry

The Rufous-necked Sparrowhawks (Accipiter erythrauchen) - also known as Grey-throated Sparrowhawk, Grey Moluccan Collared Sparrowhawk or Moluccan Sparrowhawks - are birds of prey that are endemic to Maluku Islands (also known as Moluccas or Moluccan Islands) in Indonesia, where they are found in primary and tall secondary lowland and hill forests, along the forest edge and in coastal plantations.

They are mostly resident (non-migratory); however, juveniles typically disperse from breeding areas.

They are usually solitary, but occasionally are found in pairs.
