Automatic or Manual Egg Turning Option

Chicken or other fowl HAVE to be turned a minimum of 5 to 7 times a day. Without egg turning no chicks will hatch. The Turn-X comes with the option of manual (by hand) egg turning (the most cost-effective option) or automatic egg turning. We recommend using the automatic turner if you are away from the incubator for long periods of time, and are unable to turn the eggs manually.

The TX6 is an ideal incubator for the classroom or the home hobbyist. The see-through design lets the miracle of birth unfold before you. Easy to read spirit carded thermometers are provided for temperature and humidity readings and all adjustments can be made without opening the incubator. The TX6 can be purchased with automatic egg turning or the turner may be added later.

NOTE: One turning ring is included in the purchase price of your incubator. Additional rings may be purchased as needed. Plastic turning strap included in ring price.

Clear View Brooder Ring For Turn-X Incubators

A four inch clear plastic ring with a hole and grommet for the 500-012, 11 inch thermometer (thermometer is not included - please scroll down to order). This addition allows you to convert your Turn-X into a brooder with outside temperature control, to gradually reduce heat to birds until they become accustomed to the normal environment.

Recommended for the youngest chicks and exotic chicks that are born completely helpless, blind, with no or little down - that require a tightly controlled environment

Mini Brooder Dome For Turn-X Incubators

It's as simple as a "snap" to convert your Turn-X Incubator into a full-time curtained brooder. Adjustable outside temperature control to reduce heat to chicks as they become more accustomed to the normal outside environment. After simple assembly the Mini Brooder is ready to be used with your Turn-X dome. Chicks will naturally go to the heated area when necessary!

Recommended for poultry chicks that are born with feather down and are able to move around within hours of hatching; or for older exotic birds that can move about freely.

Note: Even though not featured on the image, this brooder top will not work without the Turn-X incubator, which is not included and needs to be purchased separately - please scroll up to order.
