The White-fronted Scops Owl (Otus sagittatus) is an Asian owl that is endangered in its natural habitat due to habitat loss. It is dependent on lowland and foothill forests which is rapidly being destroyed. It has a small and declining population about which little is known.
It has a population of about 2,500-10,000, and its range covers 149,000 km of forest from 0-700 meters above sea-level.
